Q-Drop ("we", "the app") is a daily question game for communities. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account: your email address, username and display name when you sign up.
- Profile: a profile photo, if you choose to upload one.
- Content you create: question packs and questions you author, and the answers you submit.
- Activity: rooms you join, drops you answer, scores, streaks and leaderboard standing.
- Notifications: if you enable push notifications, your device's push subscription token.
- Payments: if you subscribe to Creator Pro, payments are processed by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer and subscription identifier — we never receive or store your card details.
- Technical: standard server logs (e.g. IP address, timestamps) used for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To provide the service: accounts, rooms, daily drops, scoring, streaks and leaderboards.
- To send drop notifications, only if you opt in (you can turn them off any time).
- To process and manage Creator Pro subscriptions.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for cross-app advertising or tracking.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run the app, who process data only to provide their service to us:
- Supabase — authentication, database and file storage hosting.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Stripe — subscription payments.
- Web push services — to deliver notifications you opted into.
Data retention and deletion
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or via our account deletion page. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, the rooms you own, your packs, answers and streaks. Some minimal records may be retained where required by law (e.g. payment records).
Your choices and rights
- Access or correct your profile in Settings.
- Turn push notifications on or off at any time.
- Delete your account and associated personal data.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights (access, portability, erasure). Contact us to exercise them.
Children
Q-Drop is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data.
